What is Auditor training?

Compass Assurance Training offer internationally recognised Lead Auditor Training applicable to ISO 9001 Quality Management, ISO14001 Environmental Management, AS/NZS 4801 and OHSAS 18001 Safety Management Systems. Our courses are linked to units of competency leading to nationally recognised qualifications through Compass Assurance Training as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO:88194).

Our auditing training process provides a learning pathway from foundation through to the Diploma of Quality Auditing. All Lead Auditor courses have been mapped to National Qualifications. Successful students will receive a Statement of Attainment for the nominated units of competency on successful completion of post-course practical assessments.

Who can take these courses?

Anybody can take these courses; there are no entry requirements and each auditor course will enable the participants to develop the expertise needed to perform an external audit of a management system, manage an audit team by applying widely recognised auditing principles procedures and techniques.

Training Calendar

Internal Auditor

The Internal Auditor course enables participants to understand the internal audit process and complete an internal audit of their business. The course is designed to provide a basic and contextualised introduction to the internal audit process. Participants will cover what an internal audit is and why they are conducted as a requirement of maintaining certification. The course also covers how to determine the audit scope.

Lead Auditor Training

The Lead Auditor training outlines how to lead and conduct both internal and external audits, the ins-and-outs of auditing management systems. This course is applicable for those seeking to complete both internal and third-party audits against;

  • ISO9001:2015 Quality Management  Systems
  • ISO14001:2015 Environmental Management Systems
  • ISO45001, AS/NZS 4801 & OHSAS 18001 Safety Management Systems

Diploma of Quality Auditing

This qualification reflects the role of individuals who possess a sound theoretical knowledge base and use a range of specialised, technical or managerial competencies to plan, carry out and evaluate their own work and/or the work of a team, including internal audits of management systems.

It is ideal for Quality Assurance Managers, Quality Facilitators, Quality and Improvement Consultants or Service Quality System Support Analyst or persons wishing to undertake these roles.
